March 22nd Daegu Expo Commemorative Ceremony for World Water Day
March 22 is the 27th "World Water Day" set by the United Nations.
In November 1992, the United Nations declared the World Water Day in order to raise awareness of global water shortages and the prevention of water pollution and the importance of water resources.
Since then, the United Nations has been announcing the theme each year, and the theme of World Water Day announced this year is "Leaving no one behind."
Everyone selected the topic in the sense that everyone should be provided with clean and safe water without being discriminated against by race, sex, religion, region, or the rich.
Through various events and campaigns, governments, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and private organizations are taking measures to protect water resources and supply drinking water and countermeasures against water shortage.
According to UNICEF, 2.1 billion people in the world are not receiving safe water at home, and over 700 children under five die each day due to polluted water and pollution.
Clean water is directly linked to health.
The World Health Organization recommends drinking 8 glasses of water a day (1.5 to 1.6 L).
Recently, micro dust is threatening the public health both sexually and sexually.
Fine dust is a cause of various pulmonary diseases and respiratory diseases, and heart diseases and female diseases have a serious influence.
In recent years, the efficacy of water has attracted attention in filtering fine dust including heavy metals.
Sufficient water will keep the mucous membranes of the mouth and respiratory tract moist, allowing fine dust to penetrate through it, and urine can also release heavy metals and waste products in the body.
Water also promotes metabolism and stimulates dieting and stimulation of bowel movements, which helps prevent constipation.
In particular, a glass of water in the morning can dilute the blood, reducing the risk of myocardial infarction and stroke, researchers say.
The government will hold a ceremony for the World Water Day in 2019 at EXCO in Bukgu in Daegu on the occasion of the World Water Day.
Korea has hosted a government-sponsored ceremony since 1995 and plans to re-evaluate the value of water through the World Water Day celebration event held at EXCO in Buk-gu, Daegu this year.
The Ministry of the Environment has selected the theme of this year `Water, Anywhere, Anyone '. Since clean water is a fundamental human right to be enjoyed fairly, all citizens will do their best to enjoy clean water whenever and wherever.
